The Cart Still Rolls

Long before there were guest rooms, there were carts — built by hand, painted bright, pulled slow along the same red-dirt paths. We kept them. Not as decoration, but as a way to see the farm the way it's always been seen: unhurried, wheel by wheel.

Slow to a Trot

As the light turns gold, the horses come out and the cottages glow warm at the windows. Guests wander down stone paths between banana leaf and bougainvillea, in no particular hurry to be anywhere else.
